Jonathan Tarbox (he/his/their/their), PhD, BCBA-D, is Program Director of the Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis program at the University of Southern California, as well as Director of Research at FirstSteps for Kids. Dr. Tarbox is editor of the journal Behavior Analysis in Practice and serves on the editorial boards of several scientific journals related to autism and behavior analysis. He has published four books on the treatment of autism, is the editor of the Elsevier series of books Critical specialties in the treatment of autism and other behavioral issues, and author of over 90 peer-reviewed journal articles and scientific text chapters. His research focuses on behavioral interventions to teach complex skills to people with autism, applications of acceptance and commitment training (ACT) within applied behavior analysis, and applications of behavior analysis. applied to issues of diversity and social justice.
